We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team at a TownePlace Suites By Marriott Allentown West. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check in guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience.
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications through phone systems and online platforms.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance guest experiences.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Conduct night audits as required, ensuring accuracy in billing and accounting procedures.
- Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery for guests.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Proficiency in phone etiquette and handling phone systems effectively.
- Experience in hospitality management or hotel management is preferred.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus to cater to diverse guests.
- Marriott experience preferred
- Open availability including weekend
- Familiarity with night audit procedures is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
