We are seeking a dedicated and organized Front Desk Manager for the Sleep Inn in Danville, VA, to oversee the daily operations of our front desk area. Experience with Choice Hotels/Choice Advantage is required.
The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and proficiency in various office management tasks. This role is essential for creating a welcoming environment for clients and ensuring efficient communication within the office.
Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and handling inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
- Operate multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately and maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
- Perform clerical duties such as data entry, filing, and proofreading documents to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings for staff members.
- Provide administrative support to the team, including customer support and assistance with various office projects.
- Ensure the front desk area is organized and well-maintained at all times.
- Assist in training new front desk staff on procedures and office protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in a front desk or administrative role is preferred.
- Familiarity with office management practices and procedures is essential.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
