Responsibilities:
-Significant experience with QuickBooks Pro Desktop and Online
- Daily operations within the accounting department
- Perform general ledger reconciliation and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Assist with tax preparation and filing by preparing year-end statements
- Maintain an organized system of financial documentation and records
-Gross Receipts tax experience
Qualifications:
- MUST HAVE: Experience and proficiency with Quickbooks Pro
- Proven experience as a full charge bookkeeper or similar role
- Proficient in general ledger reconciliation
- Proficient with journal entries
- Experience with payroll processing and understanding of related laws and regulations
- Solid understanding of financial concepts, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
