Warm, Friendly, & Helpful Welcome Host AND Night Auditor
Hampton Inn / Home2 Suites– Smithfield, NC
We’re looking for a Hybrid Front Desk Host to join our team and fulfill our vision of delivering unforgettably positive human interactions for all people. This position would consist of a combination of working at Hampton Inn and Home2 Suites.

The Responsibility: Collaborate with ALL hotel teams to deliver kick-ass guest experiences by giving people exactly what they want even before they ask for it. Contribute to maintaining a friendly and warm atmosphere for all people coming through our doors.
A few examples of what the ideal person for this role will do on a daily basis:
- Serve as hotel ambassador by highlighting property amenities and area attractions
- Offer a lending hand to carry guest luggage, and deliver service items like towels and TV remotes to guest rooms
- Strike up memorable conversations with people in the lobby
- Create a cozy haven for guests by noticing and picking up stray trash and debris
- Anything else that you can imagine or that someone else might imagine
You’ll also manage technical operations such as:
Maximizing room revenue by using effective face to face and telephone selling skills to convince people to stay at our hotel and pay our rates.
Performing error free work on a consistent basis; taking reservations, checking guests in/out, and handling cash and credit card transactions, etc.
The Measure of Success: How well you can “WOW” our guests by coming up with everyday solutions that go beyond the expectations of what they need – to “WOW” our guests, you must knock their socks off by being the friendliest, most helpful, and most hospitable human being they have ever encountered in a hotel!
