Medical Biller – Home Health, Wound Care & Hospice
FULL TIME - SALARIED/ EXEMPT
We are a nurse-owned, rapidly growing healthcare company providing high-quality home health, wound care, and hospice services. Our mission is to deliver compassionate, compliant, and efficient care to the communities we serve. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Biller to support our billing and revenue cycle operations and lead an in-house billing team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process and submit claims for Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurances.
2. Manage billing for home health, wound care, and hospice services.
3.Review EOBs, correct rejections, and resubmit denied claims.
4.Ensure compliance with CMS guidelines and payer-specific requirements.
5.Collaborate with clinical staff and intake coordinators to ensure accurate documentation and billing.
6..Track accounts receivable and follow up on unpaid claims.
7.Utilize EHR and billing software (experience with Perfect, Kinnser/WellSky, or similar platforms preferred).
Qualifications
1. Minimum of 2 years billing experience in home health and/or hospice required
2. Minimum 1 year experience in wound care billing required.
3. Familiarity with Medicare billing (RAP, NOA, Final Claims).
4. Knowledge of wound care billing and coding is a strong plus.
5.Experience with Perfect EHR or similar platforms preferred.
6.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
7. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
