Responsibilities
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Assist in the movement of materials within the yard, utilizing forklifts when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any mechanical issues to supervisors.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to factory operations and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or heavy-duty facility or similar environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and an understanding of mechanical systems is essential.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
