Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, with a focus on restaurant operations, including bar management and quick service fast food restaurant experience. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving profitability while maintaining a positive work environment for all staff.
Duties
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities.
- Manage and lead a team of employees, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
- Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times.
- Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff on food production, bartending techniques, and service excellence.
- Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality products are available at competitive prices.
- Analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance performance.
- Create staff schedules that align with business needs while ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality management, preferably in a quick service fast food environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact positively with customers and staff alike.
- Knowledge of inventory control processes and food production standards.
- Experience in bartending is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions quickly under pressure.
