Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years experience with a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves performing maintenance and repair tasks on a variety of vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough automotive diagnostics to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire services, and breaks.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repair tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and communicate findings to customers.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and explaining repairs in an understandable manner.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the service department.
- Assist with heavy lifting as needed during vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
- Providing automotive cleaning services to include but not limited to; vacuuming, washing exterior vehicle, wiping down surfaces and cleaning dashboard/console, using liquids like wax, polishes, and cleaners.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
- Dealership experience is a plus, showcasing familiarity with specific automotive brands.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and diagnostics.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brakes, and tire services.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
