As a GeriCare Tech, you'll have a dynamic and rewarding role. When you're not assisting in our wellness clinic, you'll be out in the community, providing top-notch one-on-one care to our geriatric clients in their homes.
And here's the best part: we will provide you with training through the Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Seminar, the required course to become a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) through NCCDP.org. We believe in preparing our team to deliver not just care—but specialized care with confidence and compassion.
Your Role Includes:
In-Clinic (Tech Role)
- Assist therapists with session prep and support
- Help maintain a clean and welcoming environment
- Provide comfort and encouragement to our clinic guests
In-Home (Geri-Care Role)
- Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Transportation to doctor’s appointments and errands
- Companionship and engagement
- Follow a structured care plan created by our clinical team
Requirements:
- Genuine desire to work with the elderly population
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Must pass a background check
- Prior experience as a caregiver or CNA preferred but not required
- Dependable, compassionate, and eager to learn
