Reporting to the Executive Director, the Fundraising Coordinator is a key member of the leadership team and collaborates closely with MC staff, students, families, and external partners. This individual is responsible for developing, managing, and nurturing meaningful relationships with community donors to enhance the school's mission, build partnerships, and foster a culture of inclusivity and connection. Fosters an inclusive culture where all community members feel valued and connected" This role requires securing sufficient funding to meet or exceed established fundraising goals through grants, donor contributions, and community engagement efforts, as set by leadership.
Building and maintaining donor relationships, securing financial support through grants and campaigns, managing fundraising events, ensuring transparency in fund allocation, and aligning funding efforts with the organization’s mission.
Fundraising Responsibilities
- Ensures the school’s public presence reflects its mission, vision, and commitment to the community.
- Supports the coordination and evaluation of funding initiatives, including grants and sponsorships, in collaboration with school leadership.
- Manages a database of community resources and partnerships, ensuring alignment with the needs and goals of MC students and families.
- Participates in strategic planning and provides updates on community engagement efforts to school leadership and the board.
- Serves on the MC Board of Trustees Development Committee
Qualifications
- Experience: 2 years in community engagement, development, or a related field. Experience in education or nonprofit settings is preferred.
- Background- must willing to be fingerprinted for background check.
- Skills:
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Community networking in both group and individual settings.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience planning events and managing projects.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Google Suite,
- Preferred skills in social media platforms and basic graphic design.
