About Us:
RWC is a vibrant and supportive senior living community committed to enhancing the well-being and quality of life for our residents. We are seeking a caring, creative, and outgoing activity assistant to help plan and deliver engaging programs that promote wellness, connection, and joy among our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the planning, setup, and implementation of daily, weekly, and monthly activity programs (games, crafts, music, outings, themed events, etc.)
- Engage with resident’s one-on-one and in group settings to encourage involvement.
- Escort and assist residents during outings or special events.
- Support residents with mobility or other needs during activities.
- Maintain activity spaces, supplies, and equipment.
- Help promote upcoming activities through flyers, calendars, and announcements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience working with seniors is a plus
- Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to lead low- to moderate-impact fitness activities.
- Excellent communication and motivational skills.
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs. and assist residents as needed.
