Responsibilities
- Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and beauty techniques.
- Sanitate tools and workstations to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Offer consultations to clients regarding hair care, color theory, and styling options.
- Mentor junior stylists or interns by sharing expertise and best practices.
- Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
- Maintain inventory of products used for services, including retail items for sale.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Perform additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions or nail care as needed.
Skills
- Proficient in hair styling techniques and cosmetology principles.
- Strong understanding of color theory to achieve desired results for clients.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Ability to mentor others effectively, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Knowledge of retail math to assist in managing product sales effectively.
- Experience with eyelash extensions and nail care is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
