Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Monitor and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.
    • Stay updated on changes in healthcare laws and implement necessary adjustments to policies and procedures.
  • Policy Development & Implementation:
    • Assist in developing, reviewing, and updating compliance policies and procedures.
    • Ensure policies align with regulatory requirements and organizational objectives.
  • Audits & Risk Assessments:
    • Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify compliance gaps.
    • Collaborate with departments to address findings and implement corrective actions.
  • Training & Education:
    • Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees.
    • Promote a culture of compliance through ongoing education and communication.
  • Incident Management:
    • Investigate compliance-related complaints or violations.
    • Report incidents to appropriate authorities and oversee remediation efforts.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, audits, and training.
    • Prepare reports for senior management and regulatory agencies as required.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work with Legal, HR, IT, and Clinical teams to ensure compliance in all operational areas.
    • Serve as a liaison during external audits or regulatory inspections.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field. Certification in Healthcare Compliance or equivalent
  • Experience: 2+ years in healthcare compliance, regulatory affairs, or a similar role.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of all federal and state laws and regulations applicable to the healthcare industry, including HIPAA, FWA regulations, OSHA regulations, among others, as well as healthcare accreditation standards.
