Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Provider to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and demonstrate proficiency in various medical specialties. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services while ensuring patient safety and satisfaction. The Healthcare Provider will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care across diverse settings.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical examinations to determine health status.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and medical history.
- Administer medications, IV infusions, and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Utilize EHR and EMR systems for accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plans.
- Perform diagnostic procedures including but not limited to suturing, catheterization, and imaging (CT, MRI).
- Provide critical care support in high-stress environments such as ICU or emergency departments.
- Engage in health coaching and education to promote wellness and disease prevention among patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care across various specialties, including cardiology, oncology, pediatrics, and more.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of patient records.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives aimed at improving healthcare outcomes.
Qualifications
- Valid medical license relevant to the practice area.
- Experience with EHR systems; familiarity with Epic is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and clinical practices.
- Background in critical care, emergency medicine, or relevant specialty areas such as psychiatry, dermatology, or maternal-fetal medicine preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and empathy.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
