Ranch Hope Strang School is currently recruiting a Special Education Secondary Math Teacher at our Alloway location. Ranch Hope is a non-profit Residential Treatment Center with locations in Salem and Gloucester Counties. Since 1964 our mission has been to transform lives through Christ-centered love and compassion while providing residential treatment, shelter, camp, special education and independent living services to youth from throughout the state of New Jersey.
As a teacher in our accredited Strang School you will use a trauma informed approach while interacting with our students and will play an important role in their treatment plan. The Strang School is dedicated to using the Nurtured Heart Approach with all students. You will receive training to use this approach to help students at all levels recognize their inner greatness. You will provide differentiated and engaging instruction to youth in small class sizes and will have a Teacher Assistant, Nurtured Heart Coach and Behavior Intervention Team to support you. You will work to ensure students are being provided with every opportunity to meet the goals set in their IEP and will re-direct behaviors that are not in line with Strang School policy and expectations. Most importantly, you will help to change the world by sharing your love of math with at-risk youth.
