Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Math Teacher to join our academic team. Rochelle ISD is home to the top-ranked accountability score over the last two accountability cycles out of all public school districts in the entire state! Rochelle ISD is also home to a 4-Day school week! Rochelle School is a PreK-12 1A school in central Texas (a 10 minute drive from Brady, Texas). Our total enrollment is a little less than 200 students annually; class sizes average around 15 students per grade level. We are a small rural school built on traditional rural values.
District housing (at an affordable rate) is available for this position. Aside from the opportunity to receive stipends, the district pays $225 toward insurance, offers $500 for 20+ year veteran teachers, the possibility of a distinction Christmas Bonus, air-medical family coverage, and an inexpensive school employee daycare. Our district salary schedule is competitive and includes competitive stipends. Our district is also received approval for our Teacher Incentive Allotment plan from TEA which rewards teachers financially for their efforts in the classroom.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating an engaging and supportive learning environment that fosters student growth and academic achievement. This role involves teaching various subjects, developing lesson plans, and assessing student performance, while also providing guidance and support to students in their educational journey.
Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Teach subjects such as Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, PreCalculus, and Math Models
- Utilize instructional design techniques to create effective learning experiences.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Assess student progress through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and instructional strategies.
- Stay updated on learning technology trends to integrate innovative teaching methods into the classroom.
Experience
- A degree in Education or a related field is required; teaching certification is preferred.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
