Overview
**Mid America Lodging Group has an available Front Desk Agent (B Shift) position at our brand new Home2 Suites by Hilton in Frankenmuth, MI**
This role requires a 5-day work week, 35–40 hours weekly, with weekends mandatory. Scheduled shift is 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM.
Candidates must reside locally and be ready to assume the role within two weeks of accepting the position.
The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing excellent guest service during the afternoon and evening hours, handling check-ins, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth communication across departments. This role is ideal for someone who is professional, reliable, and comfortable with evening operations.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and check in arriving guests with professionalism and efficiency
- Process guest check-outs, payments, and invoices as needed
- Manage phone calls, reservations, and guest requests
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room availability
- Handle guest concerns or complaints calmly and effectively
- Monitor lobby and public areas for cleanliness and safety
- Perform shift audits and prepare end-of-day reports as assigned
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk throughout the shift
Skills
- Previous front desk or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience with hotel management systems (Hilton OnQ is a plus)
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Able to stand for long periods during shift
