Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a positive dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality, as you will be responsible for managing reservations, seating arrangements, and guest relations in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Manage the flow of guests by coordinating seating arrangements and reservations
- Maintain an organized waitlist during busy periods, ensuring timely seating
- Provide information about menu items and restaurant policies to guests
- Assist with guest inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure satisfaction
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations
- Uphold cleanliness and organization of the host/host area
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Host/Host or in food service is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Strong phone etiquette and guest relations skills
