At Ritter’s, we pride ourselves on creating a welcoming and memorable experience for every guest. As the first point of contact, our hosts and hostesses set the tone for the entire visit. We’re looking for friendly, organized, and customer-focused individuals to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism
- Manage reservations and walk-in seating using our host stand system
- Maintain an organized waitlist and provide accurate wait times
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus
- Communicate effectively with servers and management to ensure smooth service flow
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and assist with guest inquiries
- Keep the host stand and entry area clean and presentable
- Assist in light support duties as needed to ensure guest satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stay calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and especially heavy hitter nights (Friday & Saturday)
