Hotel Front Office Associate

Philadelphia Marriott West Hotel is currently seeking a Front Office Associate/ Guest Service Agent with a strong background in hotel and hospitality service at our hotel located in West Conshohocken, PA.

The Ideal Candidate for This Position

• Must have basic knowledge in computer
• Willing to learn how to operate the hotel software system
• Should possess an outgoing personality with great communication skills
• Physical stamina for being on your feet throughout shifts
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Able to train and follow instructions
• Time-management skills
• Consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service
• Must have positive demeanor and can have grace under pressure
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision
• Flexibility in scheduling will include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous hotel experience is an advantage

Position Summary

As a Front Desk Associate or Guest Service Agent, you have the responsibility to give our guests the best hospitality experience they can have by:

• Checking in arriving guest efficiently, courteously and professionally at all times
• Assist guest with a high level of service and hospitality
• Promptly and effectively deal with guest concerns or issues and see all are met to satisfaction in timely manner
• Post guest charges, collect payments and follow all cash handling procedures as required set by the company
• Handle guest issues with respect to privacy and professionalism
• Be knowledgeable of the hotel brand and various programs such as rewards membership programs
• Strictly follow company processes and procedures and implement rules and regulations
• Be a great communicator to various departments and management on guest comments and concerns
• Respond quickly to incoming calls, lobby visitors and team members needing front desk assistance
• Have full knowledge of hotel safety and emergency procedures
• Willing to help and assist fellow associate and be a valuable team member
