Part-Time Housekeeping Position
Hampton Inn Huntington/Barboursville, WV is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry staff member to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and laundry services, particularly within a hotel or hospitality setting.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and tidy guest rooms, public areas, and laundry facilities
- Make beds, change linens, and ensure rooms are well-stocked with amenities
- Perform laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linens
- Handle dry cleaning requests from guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in laundry areas
- Adhere to health and safety standards while handling cleaning chemicals
Skills:
- Prior experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or laundry services
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures is a plus
- Knowledge of proper handling of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Ability to work efficiently and independently
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with guests

- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving skills to address guest concerns effectively
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
