Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Quality Inn & Suites. Located in a vibrant area, this role is crucial for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our hotel facilities, directly contributing to guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on hotel facilities, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems and basic knowledge of Drywall work and painting.
- Utilize System for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Supervise external contractors during repairs or renovations as necessary.
- Assist in residential painting and other aesthetic improvements to enhance guest experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in the hospitality industry preferred but not necessary.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
- Basic electrical skills and understanding of safety regulations related to maintenance work.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately.
