Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Shuttle Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation for passengers in a shuttle bus. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor while ensuring a positive experience for all passengers.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate shuttle vehicles, while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Provide timely transportation services to passengers, ensuring prompt pick-up and drop-off at designated locations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle by performing regular inspections and basic maintenance tasks.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the journey. Load and unload luggage for customers.
- Communicate effectively with passengers in English, addressing any questions or concerns they may have during transit.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere for all passengers.
- Assist front desk with phone calls and should have knowledge of light maintenance
- Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage, passenger counts, and any incidents that may occur during transit.
- Light groundskeeping, patrol hallways and parking lot, sweep and mop public areas, empty trash & smoke receptacles around the property.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial driving or shuttle driving is preferred.
- Familiarity with bus driving regulations and safety protocols is essential.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse groups of people.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- A professional appearance and demeanor are required at all times while on duty.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.50 per hour
