Lodging Host Hotel Corp is looking for Room Attendants/Laundry Attendants to join our team and provide excellent customer service to our guests of the historic Murray Hotel in Silver City, NM. The right fit for the job will be comfortable in both positions.

Room Attendant Responsibilities
- Change bed linen and make beds
- Replace used towels
- Sweep and mop floors
- Vacuum carpets
- Dust furniture
- Replenish bath care products (e.g. soap and shampoo)
- Clean public areas, like corridors and lobby
- Report any technical issues and maintenance needs
- Address guests’ queries (e.g. on additional services)
- Help guests retrieve lost items
- Ensure all assigned rooms are clean and tidy by the end of the shift
- Follow hotel security guidelines
Laundry Attendant Responsibilities
- Launder and fold various linens, such as bed sheets, towels, etc.
- Work closely with Housekeeping to ensure the department needs are met
- Help maintain inventory and linen counts
- Work with approved chemicals to spot-treat when necessary
- Follow safety guidelines regarding PPE and working with professional-grade washers and dryers
Skills
- Work experience as a Room Attendant preferred, but not required.
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products
- Good physical health and stamina
- Flexibility to work in shifts
- Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards
- Excellent organization skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- High school diploma is a plus
