Summary: Have you ever wondered how our festival magic gets sorted, tracked, and ready for each installation? That’s where the Inventory and Decor Specialist comes in. This role supports the Visuals team by managing and processing incoming freight, organizing and maintaining decor inventory, and preparing materials for upcoming festival installs. While not always involved in hands-on fabrication, this position plays a critical behind-the-scenes role in helping the team stay organized, efficient, and ready for each event.
This is a Part-Time Seasonal position from Now until 11/15/2025.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned to assist the team.
- Receives, unpacks, labels, and organizes freight and deliveries for the Visuals department.
- Maintains an organized system for decor inventory, ensuring items are tracked, stored properly, and prepped for upcoming festivals.
- Prepares bins, materials, and kits for install days in coordination with production leads.
- Assists with laundry of costume and decor textiles, ensuring items are cleaned and returned to inventory.
- Helps with general upkeep of workspaces, including cleaning, organizing, and resetting areas for future use.
- Supports decor production and festival installs as needed (painting, light sewing, gluing, or light assembly work).
- Collaborates closely with the Visuals team to anticipate needs and maintain workflow.
- Participates in the storage and transport of visual components.
- Maintains accurate records and labeling systems for inventory tracking.
- Follows all safety procedures and ensures the security of tools, materials, and decor assets.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfort with physical work, including lifting, sorting, and standing for extended periods.
- Effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with shipping/receiving or inventory systems is a plus.
- Must be self-motivated, flexible, and solution-oriented.
- Ability to learn basic decor techniques (e.g., light painting, floral arranging, sewing) as needed.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Missouri Class E Driver’s License or resident state equivalent.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test and a background check.

Work Environment:
This is a team-focused role in a dynamic, creative department. The Inventory and Decor Specialist works behind the scenes to support the installation of festival and seasonal displays. While this position is less hands-on with decor creation, it is essential to the overall success of the Visuals team's operations. Expect a mix of warehouse work, production support, and participation in installations, all with a spirit of collaboration.
