We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable HR and Payroll Administrator to manage payroll processing and support human resources functions. This role ensures accurate and timely payroll execution, maintains employee records, and supports compliance with labor regulations. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a high degree of confidentiality, and a solid understanding of both payroll systems and HR best practices.
Key Responsibilities:Payroll Administration:
- Process end-to-end payroll for [bi-weekly/monthly] cycles, including timesheet collection, deductions, benefits, and tax withholdings.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve employee payroll issues promptly.
- Generate and distribute pay statements, W-2s, and other payroll-related reports.
- Coordinate with Finance on payroll funding, reporting, and audit preparation.
HR Administration:
- Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and personnel files.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes including new hire documentation, background checks, and exit interviews.
- Administer benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, payroll, benefits, and time-off.
- Support compliance with labor laws and company policies, and maintain accurate documentation for audits and reporting.
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in payroll processing and HR support.
- Solid knowledge of payroll practices, tax regulations, and labor laws.
- Proficiency with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks Payroll) and HR software (e.g., BambooHR, Gusto, UKG).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
