About the Position:
The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting Emtech’s people operations, focusing on employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration. This role requires a strong understanding of HR best practices, a high level of integrity, and a heart for supporting people and culture within a values-driven and a faith-based organization. The ideal candidate will be approachable, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple HR functions in a dynamic environment.
Employment Classification: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Exempt.
Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 annually

Job Duties
- Employee Relations: Serve as a resource for employees on HR-related matters. Foster a positive and respectful workplace culture while addressing
- employee concerns and resolving conflicts with care and discretion.
- HR Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment laws and ensure company policies and procedures reflect
compliance standards. Manage personnel files and ensure records are accurate and complete.
- Benefits Administration: Support employees with benefit enrollment and questions. Liaise with insurance providers and help coordinate open enrollment
and benefits communication.programs that align with company goals and values.
- Performance and Development: Assist with the implementation of performance management processes, training initiatives, and employee development
- HR Administration: Support the day-to-day operations of the HR department, including reporting, audits, and maintaining HR systems and databases.
- Special Projects: Participate in and support company-wide initiatives related to culture, employee engagement, and organizational growth.Minimum Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably in a generalist capacity.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of employment law, HR policies, and practices. Experience with HRIS systems is desirable.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and confidentiality.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
