We are current seeking a Recruitment and Retention Specialist to help us attract, and retain top talent dedicated to making a difference in the lives of seniors.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment:
- Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies tailored to the senior living and healthcare industry.
- Partner with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates for a variety of roles (clinical, administrative, support staff).
- Attend job fairs, build partnerships with schools/training programs, and manage job postings across platforms.
- Oversee onboarding to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
Retention:
- Create and manage employee engagement and recognition programs.
- Conduct stay and exit interviews to inform retention strategies.
- Collaborate with leadership on initiatives to promote workplace culture, professional development, and career advancement.
Qualifications:
- Any combination of education and/or experience equivalent to an associate's degree in business, communications, human resources, or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional experience in recruitment, human resources, sales, customer service, or another fast-paced, relationship-driven environment.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) preferred, or strong general comfort with digital tools and navigating databases.
- Experience using social media platforms, digital tools, or professional networking strategies to identify and engage talent.
- Comfortable with outreach and relationship-building, including cold calling and working with community partners (e.g., colleges, workforce programs, trade associations).
- Ability to follow a structured yet adaptable process and take initiative in helping hiring managers create a positive candidate experience.
- Strong ability to process information, make sound decisions, and take appropriate action based on available data and policies.
- Excellent time management, organization, written/verbal communication, and phone etiquette.
- Comfortable using standard office equipment and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Strong customer service skills and a warm, hospitality-centered approach to internal and external interactions.
