We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Coordinator to join our dynamic Human Resources team. The individual will play a key role in delivering a positive and seamless onboarding experience, providing administrative and project-based support, and partnering closely with our HR and recruitment teams.
The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and highly collaborative, with strong attention to detail. Responsibilities include, but are limited to:
Essential Duties:
- Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation every other Monday in-office (NYC or Harrison, NY as needed), ensuring a smooth and professional experience for all new hires.
- Submit and track spot bonus award nominations and approvals in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist with the preparation of new hire documentation, I-9 verification, and other HR-related documentation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR systems.
- Provide administrative support to the HR and recruitment teams as needed.
- Help coordinate HR events and activities across multiple office locations.
- Support special HR projects and initiatives as they arise.
- Respond to internal HR-related inquiries and redirect as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to work in-office a minimum of 3 days per week (e.g., either in the New York City or Harrison, NY office).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required.
- 1 year of experience in HR or a completed HR internship strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills are essential.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) is required.
- Knowledge of HRIS systems (e.g., UKG) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong relationships with various team members and stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in a public accounting or professional services firm.
- Prior experience in an onboarding capacity, including coordinating and facilitating new hire processes and orientation sessions.
Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position ranges from $55,000 - $65,000. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the specific role, office location as well as the individual’s qualifications, experience, skills, and certifications.
