Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping our organization's HR strategy, ensuring effective performance management, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This position requires strong leadership skills, the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, and expertise in HR systems such as Taleo and Oracle.
Duties
- Ensures that company policies are followed and safety regulations are enforced.
- Develops, recommends and implements personnel policies and procedures.
- Recruiting activities.
- Administers all benefit programs including tracking employee eligibility.
- Assists employees with personnel or benefits issues, responds to employee relations issues.
- Working with supervisor, issues Disciplinary Notices.
- Participates in the termination process.
- Coordinates Toolbox talks and verifies completion of them on a timely basis.
- Files Workers’ compensation claims, works with supervisors to investigate claims.
- Processes and follows up on injuries and workman’s comp issues.
- Responsible for regulatory filings, OSHA, EEOC, etc.
- Processes weekly payroll, including child support, garnishments and other payroll deductions.
- Maintains personnel files and records.
- Responsible for new employee orientation.
- Follows and supports ISO 9001 requirements, assists in writing and updating procedures.
- Maintains good working relationships with others.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Proven experience (2 to 5 years) in an HR managerial role with a strong understanding of HR sourcing techniques.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools to interpret HR metrics for strategic planning.
- Familiarity with performance management systems and best practices.
- Experience with Paylocity payroll program is preferred but not required.
