Primary Responsibilities
The HR Manager is responsible for managing the implementation and facilitation of appropriate procedures and policies while supporting all functional areas of the human resources department.

- Administer corporate and plant policies relating to safety, hiring, onboarding, compensation, benefits, training and development, performance management, and employee/community communication
- Use leading practices and objectives that meet organizational goals in a high-performance culture that emphasizes safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement.
- Provides support to management and employees.
- Serves as an agent of the company at public relations events.
- Develop workforce plans to meet production and maintenance needs.
- Partner with leadership to fill skilled trade and production roles.
- Oversee onboarding processes to ensure compliance and culture alignment
- Guide supervisors through performance evaluations and feedback processes.
- Support productivity and morale through recognition programs and engagement efforts.
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and update HR policies.
- Monitor turnover trends and implement retention strategies.
- Maintain accurate employee records, timekeeping, and HRIS systems.
- Prepare reports on staffing, turnover, absenteeism, etc.
- Oversee payroll processes.
Job Qualifications
A willingness to learn and grow is critical for this position.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 3+ years of HR-related experience
- Understanding of commonly used business concepts, practices, and procedures
- Computer proficiency
- Mathematics and analytical skills
- Experience in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to operate in a systematic and logical manner
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
