Synergy Recovery Network is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and empathetic Human Capital Assistant to join our growing team. This role is crucial in supporting our human capital initiatives, ensuring a seamless experience for employees from recruitment through their tenure. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills and a passion for creating a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruiting & Staffing Support:
- Assist with the full recruitment life cycle, including posting job advertisements on various platforms (internal and external), screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
- Manage and update applicant tracking systems (ATS) to ensure accurate and timely candidate information.
- Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit.
- Coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers and candidates, including sending calendar invitations and providing necessary logistical support.
- Prepare and send offer letters and new hire paperwork.
Interviewing & Selection:
- Participate in interviews alongside hiring managers, taking notes and providing objective feedback.
- Assist in developing and refining interview questions and assessment tools.
- Ensure a positive and professional interview experience for all candidates.
Onboarding & Integration:
- Facilitate the new hire onboarding process, including preparing welcome packets, coordinating IT setup, and scheduling initial training sessions.
- Conduct new hire orientations, introducing company policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Ensure all necessary new hire documentation is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.
- Act as a welcoming point of contact for new employees, addressing initial questions and providing support during their transition.
Human Resources Administration:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR information system (HRIS).
- Process HR-related paperwork, such as personnel changes, promotions, and terminations.
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and inquiries.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Support HR reporting and data analysis as needed.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive and compliant workplace environment.
- Perform other administrative and HR-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 4 years of experience in an HR administrative or assistant role, with exposure to recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with HRIS and ATS systems preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Empathetic and compassionate approach with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of basic employment laws and HR best practices is a plus.
