Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing various HR functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. Duties
- Manage talent acquisition processes including recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Oversee employee orientation programs to ensure smooth integration into the company culture.
- Administer employee evaluations and performance management systems to support employee development.
- Implement change management strategies to facilitate organizational transitions.
- Handle employee relations issues, providing guidance on conflict management and resolution.
- Ensure compliance with FMLA, OSHA, and other employment and labor laws.
- Manage benefits administration and assist employees with inquiries regarding their benefits packages.
- Utilize HRIS systems such as Workday, Paychex, or Oracle HCM for data entry and workforce management.
- Conduct data collection and analysis to inform strategic planning and organization design initiatives.
- Support affirmative action planning and succession planning efforts within the organization.
- Collaborate on training and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Maintain accurate records of contracts, payroll information, and other HR documentation using tools like ADP or Ceridian.
- Leverage social media management for employer branding and recruitment efforts using platforms like LinkedIn or Salesforce.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in human resources roles with a focus on talent management, employee relations, and benefits administration.
- Familiarity with HR sourcing techniques and applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as iCIMS or Taleo is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of employment law, including FMLA regulations and workers' compensation policies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact at all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in project management principles with experience in strategic planning initiatives.
- Knowledge of various HR software platforms and HRIS
