Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Ice cream Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, culinary experience, and the ability to manage time effectively. As a Server/Cashier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience while efficiently handling transactions and food preparation.
Duties
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and serving guests promptly and courteously.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Prepare food items in accordance with safety and sanitation standards.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and maintaining overall restaurant cleanliness.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and quality control.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.
- Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Basic culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
- Experience in cashiering.
