We are looking for an IMPORT SPECIALIST for our Atlanta, GA location. This person will be responsible for providing quality service to import customers regarding the timely clearance of cargo through the appropriate government agencies & providing logistic/transportation services for inland freight moves within a Customs Broker's office.
Your role and responsibilities will include:
- Being a valuable team member of the Atlanta Import Department
- Processing import entries
- Import account management, handling each shipment throughout the full shipment process from beginning to end
The qualifications and skills that you will need include:
- Professional communication skills (verbal and written)
- At least three years of import entry-writing experience, preferably with third-party logistics experience, working for a Customs Broker’s office
- In-depth knowledge of import procedures
- Good problem solving abilities
- Innate attention to detail
- Time management skills
