Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Social Media Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team. This structured internship provides hands-on experience across social media marketing, content creation, and basic graphic design. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong work ethic who can work independently while contributing to our client campaigns.
What You'll Learn & Do
This position is designed with specific learning objectives while providing valuable support to our team:
Social Media Management
- Create and execute social media campaigns for clients
- Develop weekly content calendars across multiple platforms
- Track social media analytics and prepare performance reports
- Respond to comments and messages professionally and promptly
- Research industry trends and competitor strategies
Content Creation
- Capture and edit photo/video content for social media use
- Write engaging captions that speak to target audiences
- Create compelling graphics using Canva and other tools
- Help develop and edit short-form videos
- Assist with content shoots and live events
Professional Development
- Work on independent projects with increasing responsibility
- Participate in regular feedback and growth sessions
- Build a professional portfolio of marketing materials
- Learn agency workflow and client management processes
- Contribute ideas in team brainstorming sessions
Qualifications
Required
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation demonstrated through past experiences
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Quick learner with ability to adapt to new tools and platforms
- Basic understanding of major social media platforms
Preferred Skills
- Experience with content creation (photography, video, writing)
- Basic design abilities or aesthetic sense
- Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools
- Previous experience managing social media accounts (personal or professional)
