- Infant Classroom - Lead Teacher - FULL TIME
Our infant classroom is seeking a full-time teacher to lead the day-to-day activities. Children's Lighthouse of Wylie is seeking Early Childhood Lead Teachers and Assistant Teachers to convey our very own ground breaking C.A.R.E.S. curriculum to children, Infants through School-Age. This position is open to full and additional positions for part time candidates are available as well, with prior experience in the field and a clean criminal background.
We implement a full curriculum in all of our classrooms and give teachers the opportunity to shine with creative activities and the skills that make them amazing! We strive to offer the highest quality early childhood education to our families.

Minimum qualifications include:
- Dependable and professional.
- Love of babies & children
- Positive and flexible attitude.
- Physically able to perform the duties of the job (lifting up to 30 pounds, kneeling, sitting, standing, etc.).
- Proof of high school diploma required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- CPR/First Aid certification upon hire (paid by school)
- FBI & State background clearance upon hire (paid by school)
- Exceed state minimum licensing requirements at all times by providing a stimulating and safe environment for all children at all times.
- Schedule availability Monday through Friday (full-time availability, some flexibility)
Experience:
- Previous experience (at least one year) in a licensed early childhood education center or licensed child care center in appropriate age group is preferred.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday
- 8 hour shift - AM & PM shifts available
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- College/Bachelors degree or CDA Certificate (required)
License/Certification:
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
- Child Development Associate Certification (or Bachelor's degree)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
