Boutique Bed & Breakfast is seeking Assistant Innkeeper / Housekeeper
We’re looking for reliable, detail-oriented, and warm individuals who love hospitality—not just housekeeping.
We are looking for candidates with positive and outgoing attitude. Reliability is an absolute must. Preferably the candidate has prior cleaning experience in the hotel or short term rental industry, however this is not required
Candidate must be able to work weekends and must be available from 10am-3pm.
Candidates must have a high level of stamina, be capable of climbing stairs, and remain physically active their entire shift.
While this is a cleaning position, it is not limited to cleaning guest rooms and communal areas but the perfect candidate ideally will also assist the innkeeper with hosting our guests, and assisting in our boutique gift shop.
Located in the heart of Historic downtown Suffolk, Virginia, The Pinner House is a design-focused boutique bed & breakfast offering luxurious amenities, impeccable service, and a curated guest experiences. Accommodations are individually designed suites and cottages within a renovated historic property.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel housekeeping is preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commitment to providing outstanding guest services.
- Weekend availability is a must.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
