Responsibilities
- Assess clients’ insurance needs and provide appropriate coverage options.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain policy details and benefits.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of insurance policies to ensure client satisfaction.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, regulations, and product offerings through ongoing training and development.
- Utilize company-provided leads and marketing support to maximize sales opportunities.
- Engage in outside sales activities, including networking events and community outreach.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and policy changes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and products to provide informed advice.
- Assist clients with benefits administration and claims processes as needed.
- Participate in team meetings, coaching sessions, and professional development programs.
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal insurance regulations.
Requirements
- Active H&L Insurance License
- Previous sales experience
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is preferred for handling sensitive client information.
- Basic proficiency in technology, CRM systems, email, and virtual meetings.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards in all dealings with clients.
