Requirements

• Fluent in Dutch, both written and spoken
• Strong English communication skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Organised, reliable and methodical approach
• Previous call centre, customer service or technical support experience is beneficial
• Previous IT support experience is advantageous but not essential
• Comfortable troubleshooting basic technical issues
• Confident communicating with customers by telephone and email
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-based environment
• Genuine interest in technology and developing a career in IT support

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support to external customers via telephone and email
• Support Dutch-speaking customers professionally and effectively
• Log, track and accurately update support tickets
• Troubleshoot basic hardware, software and network-related issues
• Escalate more complex technical issues where required
• Guide customers through step-by-step technical solutions
• Maintain accurate support documentation and knowledge base records
• Work collaboratively with colleagues within the service desk
• Support continuous improvement across the service desk
• Provide consistently high customer service and build positive client relationships

We are partnering with a specialist IT company that is expanding its support team at a modern service office in Peterborough. This temporary-to-permanent role offers 37.5 hours per week, with flexible shift rotation between 7am and 7pm and occasional weekends. The pay rate is £14.22 per hour, with an immediate start.
