Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including network (LAN, WAN, WLAN), servers (physical and virtual), storage systems, and telecommunications. Ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability.
- System Administration: Manage and administer critical business systems, including ERP (if applicable), CRM, email, and other enterprise applications. Coordinate with vendors for support, upgrades, and implementations.
- Cybersecurity: Working with Comfort Systems IS team to ensure all of EAS is in a protected state.
- Data Management and Backup: Establish and maintain data backup and recovery procedures to ensure business continuity in the event of system failures or disasters. Manage data integrity and security.
- IT Support and Helpdesk: Oversee the IT support function, ensuring timely and effective resolution of user issues. Develop and maintain IT support documentation and training materials.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors, evaluate their performance, and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality of service.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure IT operations comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in IT management, with a proven track record of successfully managing IT infrastructure and operations.
- Strong technical expertise in network administration, server management (Windows Server, Linux), virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), cloud computing (e.g., AWS, Azure), and cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience with ERP and CRM systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent understanding of data backup and recovery procedures.
- Proven ability to develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience managing IT budgets and vendor relationships.
