Katoen Natie is seeking a driven and experienced Operations Manager (OM) to lead our Specialty Chemicals site operations in Eddyville, Kentucky. This leadership role is responsible for supervising daily packaging, shipping, receiving, housekeeping, and overall operational excellence at the facility.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing team across packaging, shipping, and technical operations
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and productivity standards
- Drive KPI performance and lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage labor scheduling, planning, inventory control, and equipment use
- Conduct audits, lead team evaluations, and promote a culture of safety and accountability
- Collaborate closely with the Facility Manager and management team to resolve issues and optimize operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent operational management experience
- Strong leadership background in industrial or chemical environments
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong ability to multitask
- Deep understanding of quality standards and process compliance (QM28)
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor conditions and perform physically demanding tasks as needed
