THE OPPORTUNITY

The IT Systems Analyst is a key member of the Enterprise Architecture team and supports the Chief Enterprise Architect in defining and implementing IT architecture decisions for the bank. Specifically, primary responsibilities for this role include: overseeing and monitoring the implementation of CIS (Center for Internet Security) Benchmarks for secure configurations, conducting data flow analysis and documentation for new and existing applications, and participation in gathering requirements for new initiatives. This role ensures that system configurations comply with the latest security hardening benchmarks and practices, and that application data workflows are accurately mapped and maintained for operational documentation references. The role also assists in the definition of overall requirements for other IT projects as assigned.


HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • CIS Implementation: Coordinates and tracks the implementation of CIS benchmarks with various internal information technology teams. Prioritizes work, mitigates change risks, assigns tasks, and provides status reports.
  • CIS Document Packages: Creates and maintains document packages based on CIS benchmarks, including security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures. Ensures that these documents align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • CIS Validation: Performs analysis and comparison of CIS benchmark settings against automated scan results and manual configuration reviews to identify any discrepancies or vulnerabilities.
  • CIS Risk Acceptance and Exceptions: Collaborates with stakeholders to identify and assess security risks and exceptions. Develops and documents risk acceptance justifications and exception rationales, ensuring clear communication and understanding of associated risks.
  • Data Flow Analysis: Analyzes and documents current-state data flows for legacy and modern applications, identifying data movement, connectivity, storage, and data classification levels. Collaborates with relevant teams to update and enhance documentation as needed.
  • Data Flow Documentation: Creates and maintains data flow information, diagrams, and documentation libraries to support architecture reviews and compliance audits.
  • Data Flow Validation: Works with application owners, information technology teams, and developers to validate data movement, connectivity, storage, and data classification levels.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • 5+ years of experience in IT system/application administrator or IT analyst role.
  • 3+ years of experience in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Understanding of CIS benchmarks, including implementation and testing strategies.
  • Experience with automated scanning tools, such as Tenable Security Center (Nessus), and Microsoft configuration tools, such as Windows Group Policies and Microsoft Intune.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis, drift analysis, and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Attention to detail and proficiency in creating well-structured, organized, and professional documents.
  • Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and the ability to develop risk acceptance and exception rationales.
  • Experience in reviewing and enhancing security-related documents for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with document management systems and tools for efficient organization and version control.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of, adherence to, monitoring and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations and laws as they pertain to this position including but not limited to the following: Regulation Z (Truth in Lending Act), Regulation B (Equal Credit Opportunity Act), Fair Housing Act (FHA), Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) in conjunction with the USA PATRIOT Act, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Customer Information Program (CIP), Right to Financial Privacy Act (RFPA, state and federal) and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA)

SALARY RANGE

The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors.
