Job Summary
We are seeking a tech-savvy, solution-oriented IT/Technical Intern to support the technical operations of our growing digital platform. This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in IT support, systems management, and web technology. You will help maintain our online tools, assist with troubleshooting, and contribute to enhancing the digital infrastructure that supports our educational and mentorship services.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic IT support for internal teams, troubleshooting technical issues and resolving user concerns
- Assist in the maintenance and updates of the organization's website, digital tools, and learning management platforms
- Support the setup, configuration, and optimization of software systems used by the team
- Help manage digital data storage, backups, and file security protocols
- Monitor system performance and provide technical recommendations for improvement
- Assist in documenting standard operating procedures for technical systems
- Collaborate with staff on virtual event tech setups (e.g., webinars, Zoom, or Google Meet sessions)
- Research and suggest new tech tools or platforms to improve productivity and service delivery
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated from an IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related program
- Basic knowledge of web platforms, cloud services (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365), and cybersecurity best practices
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS, basic coding, or CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Wix, or Moodle) is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting abilities
- Clear communication and teamwork skills
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage tasks independently in a remote setting
- Passion for using technology to support education and social good
