Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Janitor to join our team. The Janitor will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment, ensuring that our facilities are safe and welcoming for all occupants. The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial work, commercial cleaning, industrial cleaning, and general maintenance tasks.
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and common areas
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
- Assist with setting up for events or meetings as needed
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Skills:
- Experience in custodial work
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices
- Ability to perform porter duties effectively
- Proficiency in buffing floors and residential painting
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques
- Strong attention to detail to maintain cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
