Position Summary:
This role combines junior accounting responsibilities with domestic and international shipping logistics coordination. You will support our accounting department with day-to-day financial tasks while managing the flow of shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes
- Support accounts payable, accounts receivable & cost accounting functions
- Assist with expense reporting and financial statement documentation
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with audits as needed
- Coordinate domestic and international shipping of finished wheels to customers and distributors
- Prepare and review shipping documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs paperwork
- Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely delivery
- Track shipments and proactively resolve delays or issues
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping preferred
- Shipping logistics experience preferred but not necessary
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Working knowledge of accounting software preferred
- Familiarity with international shipping documentation is an advantage but not required
- Proficiency in Excel and general computer skills
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-moving environment
