Shipping & Production Assistant (Full-Time – Oakland, CA)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
Location: Onsite in Oakland, CA (not remote)

We’re hiring a Shipping & Production Assistant to help ship customer orders, assemble product kits, and maintain clean, lab-adjacent workspaces that support the health of cats and dogs around the world.
What You'll Do:
- Pick, pack, and ship orders using Shipstation
- Assemble, label, and bundle test kits and supplements with precision
- Wash and sanitize reusable ice packs daily using bleach and cleanroom-safe procedures
- Maintain clean production and shipping areas
- Restock supplies, organize materials, and support team logistics
- Occasionally fill in for our courier to pick up donor fecal samples (mileage reimbursed)
You’re a Great Fit If You:
- Have 1+ year of experience in a small parcel package fulfillment and small product assembly
- Are dependable, organized, and comfortable with repetitive manual tasks
- Can lift up to 50 lbs and stand for most of an 8-hour shift
- Are comfortable using bleach and other sanitizers in accordance with SOPs
- Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Are okay working around natural product odors (e.g., fish oil, pumpkin)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using ShipStation or similar shipping software
- Familiarity with Shopify, Google Sheets, or Excel
- Understanding of USPS, UPS, FedEx, or DHL shipping workflows
- Background in small parcel shipping, small product assembly or cleanroom lab support
