Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Installation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction and installation, with the ability to work effectively on various projects. This role requires hands-on experience with tools and equipment, as well as the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. As an Installation Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that installations are completed accurately and efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Install fixtures, cabinets, doors, and other components according to specifications.
- Perform construction tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and masonry.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively.
- Conduct construction inspections to ensure quality control throughout the installation process.
- Collaborate with team members on construction site tasks and project timelines.
- Complete concrete forming, finishing, plastering, and stucco work as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety protocols.
- Assist in remodeling projects including flooring installation and tile laying.
- Provide restoration services as required for various installations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or a related field is essential.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely.
- Familiarity with construction management principles is preferred.
- Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics.
- Experience with concrete forming, framing carpentry, door hanging, caulking, trim carpentry, glass installation, cabinet installation, and roofing is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems and electrical installations is a plus.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment when necessary.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
