Required Skills:

Job Type: Full-time, Bargaining unit (Union)
- 8 hour shift, Monday – Friday 6:00am – 2:30pm.
- Pay: Total Compensation Package $48,000-$64,000 a year
- Starting base pay $20.00 per hour with attendance bonus
- $2,000 annual CDL bonus

Responsibilities/Duties:
- Follow safe operating practices and procedures
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times as required
- Work in a fast paced team environment
- Serve customers and treat them respectfully
- Drive and operate rear-load compactor trucks, split-body trucks, straight trucks, and roll-off trucks
- Load and unload trash/recycling into trucks from dumpsters and trash/recycling cans
- Perform daily equipment checks and maintenance including cleaning, greasing, and reporting maintenance issues
- Clean up around trash/recycling collection sites and around the Material Recovery Facility (MRF)
- Submit weight and volume data for commercial customers
- Assist with the maintenance of electronic route sheets
- Submit extra bag and special haul data for billing
- Sort recycling in the Material Recovery Facility (MRF)
- Complete all other tasks assigned by the supervisor
