Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and care. This role involves various tasks related to landscaping, lawn care, and general maintenance of outdoor spaces. The Landscape Laborer will work with a variety of tools and equipment to ensure that our clients' properties are well-maintained and visually appealing.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects.
- Conduct tree care activities such as tree trimming and removal as needed.
- Support hardscape projects including the installation of patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and equipment after use.
- Collaborate with team members on larger landscaping projects to ensure timely completion.
- Provide general gardening services, including planting flowers, shrubs, and trees as directed.
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge is preferred for operating various landscaping equipment.
- Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, and gardening is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with excavators and other heavy machinery is a plus.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to landscaping tasks.
- Knowledge of horticulture principles to effectively care for plants and landscapes.
- Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship in all tasks performed.
- 2 years experience in landscaping or related fields is mandatory.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week
